Eight from eight.Congrats,I am very impressed.[IMG]

    +1

Very well done; I took some foolish chances in my picks...

From the sound of it, Celtic were impressive in defeat; Arsenal, on the other hand...

And Roma were impessive away from home. The thought of them winning it all doesn't seem so farfetched...

I don't want to jinx you, though, so let's not go that far yet; will they outlast Milan?

    An all-Premiership final? Perhaps...

There is talk in England of Utd winning the treble(Premiership,Champions League and FA Cup).I would be more than happy with the Prem and anything else is a bonus. Our form in Europe is poor this season and in my mind I don't think there is a favourite in our tie.

Oh I'm aware of the Treble Talk. Here's where I watch my Serie A matches:

It could certainly happen - for a variety of reasons, I think they just play together better than any other top-tier club this year...

Benecios - what is the buzz in the Man U camp? Roma fans seem to be reveling in the victory - very little talk (that I've seen) re their date w/ the Red Devils. Turns out Chivu's nose was broken by Fred, and he underwent surgery last week, but should be ready for 4/4....

Same here. The Euro game has been put on the back burner for now.We have a very important Premiership match in a few hours and then two days later an F.A. Cup quarter final.
Our treatment room is overflowing,we now have eight players injured so now would be a good time to catch us.

We got another injury in defence yesterday(Vidic dislocated shoulder)which now means we now have 3 of our first choice defenders out for Wednesday.
Its not looking good but with the form of Cristiano Ronaldo(if he doesn't win World Player of the Year its a travesty)anything is possible![IMG]

I think Wednesday's match will be interesting. We've also got a couple of key injuries - Aquiliani recovering from ACL surgery & Max Tonetto for the short term. Coupled with our notoriously shallow bench and Pizarro's suspension, this will undoubtedly result in some folks be shifted around and playing out of position. I see Sir Alex has decided to tweak il Capitano's nose by leaving him off the 'most dangerous/men to be watched' list....

I'm genuinely excited for this first time match-up. The Olimpico is the antithesis of the intimate English ground - built for the '60(?) Olympics, it's got a huge track and folks in ends are far away from the action. Despite its shortcomings, the Curva Sud can generate some fantastic atmosphere. I would expect this to be the case on Weds., given that it will be our biggest European night since the European Cup final against Liverpool back in the early '80's....

    Forza Roma!
