1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Really weak first half of the game for Bayern around the box. Couple that with a few defensive meltdowns and and fantastic Inter defense and there was your game.

And yes, it was a pretty boring game. The last 15 min were painful. Bayern threw their arms up in the air more times than they had strong shots.

I can't remember the last time I literally snoozed through a CL final but that's what I did.

Good on Inter though - they deserved.

    Zzzzzzzzzzz

Good for Inter, though. Anybody but Bayern. Nice Treble. Like the Special One. He's off to RM for two years until Perez kicks his arse for playing boring footy. Then he'll be ready for the top job when Sir Alex retires in 2013.

The most underwhelming CL final since Liverpool - Milan in '07.

If your knowledge of football started in 2008 then they are.
    Real Madrid Late 50's
    Ajax Early 70's
    Liverpool Late 70's Early 80's
    Milan Late 80's Early 90's
    Ajax 1994-95
    All better. Fact.

Might want to add Celtic 1967. Jock won the Treble with every player from Glasgow. Try that now. Utd, Barca, Inter, AC filled with home town boys.

Nah - that one had some drama.

It's the most underwhelming since Juve - Milan going to penalties.

Or perhaps the Porto-Monaco final when noone gave a fuck.

Macedonia, FTW! I liked when Chivu threw his cap in...

What's w/ all the flags? Cameroon, Brazil, Romania, Macidonia, Serbia I saw; not sure about Netherlands, Ghana(?); don't think I saw Argenina or Colombia....

Robben looked only mildly threatening - I only saw the one 2nd half shot that tested Cesar (although I too ws nappingin 1st half). Brazil/Argie wall really kept things under control....

*edit: did FSC really screw the pooch on this one? [IMG] they yapped about the final all week (FSC! 2:30! balh, blah, blah), and come game time they're showing an EPL recap show WTF? And then on their Report they're interviewing the Kenyan guy and calling him Sulley Muntari! [IMG]

So has The Special One signed on with Real Madrid yet? I saw some comments report yesterday, but nothing's official yet I take it.

    Nice!

As for the game....didn't watch it. From the sound of it, I didn't miss much.
