1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think you're building good will during the week and spending it on the Fridays you wear that SC. :D It's a more advanced move than I'd advocate for the average bear.

    Yesterday
+ Suit, shirt (blue or white?) and tie
    - Pocket Square

    Today
    + Shirt & Tie -Navy/Pink, nice combo
    - Im struggeling to like the redish overcheck on the SC, the shoes are to chunky for my personal taste.

R.O. Thornhill Very nice combo, that's my cup of tea. I was actually wearing a shirt in identical pattern today with a navy SC. Enjoy your flight!

ROT: Other than your refusal to use your seatbelt, looks great. :D

Thank you Sugarbutch - I have an aversion to seatbelts in black cabs. Very bad I know. Oddly I always wear them in normal cars...

Here is today's get-up. Celebrating the end of summer with Neapolitan fresco and shantung

Thank you - these are (yet) another pair of Cleverley captoes. As you note the shape is less extreme than the Anthony Cleverleys. This is closer to what I would get in bespoke

Another solid combo! You've become one of my favourite contributors. However I'm not 100% sold on that tie.

Thank you very much - appreciate it

The tie is particular - I probably wear it twice a year. I am not generally a fan of pink ties (shirts on the other hand I am very partial to), but there are a couple of things which I think makes it work: 1) It is a 'dirty' pink, which doesn't stand out as much as you think; 2) Its slubbiness, which is pretty extreme; 3) The apparently random pattern of flowers. Altogether it is a pretty unique tie. Great for sunny, cheerful days

The summery feel of both the shantung and the Fresco suit fabric works well together, I don't think the color is wrong combined with the rest either. It's just that the rough texture and that particular motif doesn't suit my personal taste.

R.O.T. - I love the look, love the tie. It's really tricky to infuse a summery vibe into an outfit (and tie) without the colors becoming too splashy and the overall look losing its business appropriateness. But this works well.

Very CBD today (and slightly shaky pictures - no red lights this morning...)
