Hmm, not a fan of the shirt-tie combo Manton.
I think it's fine. His tie collection is the one of the best I've seen. I'm not a fan of the way he tucks in his square, doesn't look very neat, crisp or flattering to the rest, but maybe that's not really the point here. I don't see how his first pics usually make sense as there is hardly any detail visible, except for the overall silhouette.

    The jacket looks excellent!

Cheers, F! It is a pleasure to wear. The trousers are rather ordinary but my hips are a ridiculously hard fit.

Bit of a rubbish photo. This is:
    - 1B SB RAF blue birdseye suit by Steed
    - Alumo lilac micro-check shirt by Sean O'Flynn
    - Blue on white check tie by Drakes

Out of shot is a pair of black Edward Green punch-cap oxfords

PS got a little out of control in this picture. I tamed it afterwards.

Lufty, your trousers are not looking good ... they are too trim and low waisted for the look you are going for.

I hate my B-width (and two differing lengths) for all the obvious reasons when it comes to finding shoes, but I have to say, a number of you with normal width feet look like you're wearing Russet Potatoes.

Really? Because of the floating medallion?

    Manton,

Figured you wouldn't like the shoes. I like floating medallions on monks. [IMG]

I agree with you on bluchers and balmorals though.
