Thanks - I have the same. The "dots" are pretty fragile IME.

Manton - something funky is happening with your shoes on that pic*... have you been walking around near reactor 4? [IMG]

I noticed that too, after I uploaded the pic. The original is fine.

    Petronius, actually.

Those are sort of beater shoes; bad weather today. They could use a shine.

Luftivier, were you on leave or something the last few months?

    Self-imposed exile.

Looks good. I don't think the 5+ inch tie is CBD though

Thanks, but the tie is 3.5" wide, I just knot it like a french person with the rear blade showing.

on phat guidos style, he almost always seems to be as conservative as possible* excepting one feature.

a navy suit, white shirt but a knit tie
or grey suit, plain brown tie, white shirt but with a hat
    etc

it seems like a very simple way of dressing but maintains interest due to that one element and always looks well turned out.

not DTOing but inspired by it.

    *excluding red pants

I completely agree. I had mentioned something similar earlier in the thread (not specifically about him, but in general), and think this is a very good CBD "rule" for newbies like me... And I find in hindsight that a lot of the people whose style I admire here tend to go by this, consciously or not.
