Mod 3 Summer Trousers Issue

Bought two pairs (Cream and Taupe) at size EUR 48, which on their size guide states a waist of 33.3 inches. I normally wear a waist of 32 inches so I thought a bit looser should be fine with the side tabs. However, I cannot even button these up! The alterations guy measured them for me and they are basically 31 inches wide. Has anyone else had these issues? I have other high rise trousers of size 32 waist that fit me well.

This is the second item that has turned out to be smaller than the size on the website. I ordered the Mod2 Jacket earlier and while the cloth and stitching looked great, size 44 was too tight around the shoulders and armholes. Size 44 from other shops like Natalino or Spier and Mackay fits almost a bit loose.

I am wondering if there is a pattern here. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Interesting….ran into a similar issue w/ recent Mod 3, summer trousers. Purchased EUR 46 (size guide: 31.7in/80.7cm); pants measured 29.2in/74.2cm (off by 2.5”/6.4cm.)

I imagine this is atypical for their normal tolerance standards, (but it’s my 1st purchase, so what do I know.) Initially, considered returning, then was headed to tailor today. After reading your post, I think I’ll probably just return these until I can be more certain re: any sizing issues.

Seems that in the transition to our new site, some Mod 3 trousers have been given Mod 2 Sizeguide.

We'll have it sorted out.

Mod 3 has a narrower waist than Mod 2, due to the higher rise.

Well, that’s unfortunate as size 50 is not available for those trousers anymore.

Regardless, can you please post the correct size guide for Mod 3 here so I know I am looking at the right guide on your website? The website still says 33.3 inches for size 48.

lovely, i was very hesitant about getting it, mainly cause the pattern is more winter oriented, but i actually regret now maybe ill get lucky with a restock.
