My jacket arrived. The fit is very, very good for a RTW jacket.

I like the new cloth garment bags a lot better than the old green plastic ones. Also this cashmere donegal is pretty awesome

Agreed, that was quite a nice surprise.

Gotta give it to you @kevinsvindland and your team at Cavour. You guys always knock it out of the park with the speed of shipping during busy times and the quality of your garments. The one thing I'd say is that the sizing guides can be improved a bit. I think I've finally nailed down my sizes, but it took quite a bit of trial and error, especially with trousers.

Unfortunately, that means I'll be spending even more money at Cavour down the line... ?

Great fit! How does the back look?
There's a pic:

I'd say really clean overall. It's usually the place on a jacket where I have the most problems. On this on though, apart from a little tightness across the waistline (to be fair, I could be a little slimmer there), I'd say the fit is quite good.

@kevinsvindland, would you have any more details on the Farnley 17435/F8 fabric? The feel is very nice but it does seem to be a bit on the light side.

The fabric is 100% Merino wool, 330g/m

Thank you!

Does this one in flannel have the same weight? Considering getting one as well but given it's flannel it might be better to consider something else, on the heavier side. Would be really grateful if you could suggest something in the same cut/heavier weight.

It is the same weight.

I really like this one

95% Wool 5% Cashmere, fantastic touch, and a great shade of dark steel blue.

It is 390g/m

And I just discovered a copy mistake. This one is Kynoch, not M&E as stated in the text.
Sounds really good, thanks for the info. It'll make a very nice Christmas present!

(P.S. putting the fabric info in the details on the website would be very useful)

No they’re different fabrics. Jacket is M&E and trousers are VBC so they won’t be an exact match.

EDIT:
Interpreted this as do they make a suit since they’re both Taupe colour.

I think so - they're both warm-toned colours. On the flannel trousers, it might slightly reduce the versatility in terms of what else you can pair them with. I've always found the colder shades of grey go with more things.
