Haha, exactly.. If you like RJ shoulder, get an RJ suit.

In my (entirely unbiased) opinion, the Cavour suit far outshines the RJ suit in terms of fit and balance.

Also, for the record, we are not changing the Model 2 fit. (It is pretty darn good as it is:cool:)

The picture I posted earlier was a sample for a whole new model I am working on.
Have you ever considered switching to Milanese buttonholes? Those people that make your jackets are so skilled that their hand made buttonholes look like machine made. Milanese would definitely stand out

Honestly, I do not like Milanese buttonholes. (Unless we are talking about a Caraceni, Dembech or other Milanese tailors)
It is one of those things that get put on fused or half canvassed suits and used as a cheap selling point. And I particularly do not like the long ones, that Tom Ford seems to love at the moment.

(Just my opinion, not an attack on anyone that does like a Milanese buttonhole..)

My .02...I think it can look GREAT, but it is certainly overdone nowadays. I find that it really only "fits" with a super slick suit. When you see it on workhorse type cloths, odd or very rustic type jackets, it just looks off, and rather forced.
I wouldn't complain if you added them, but kept it reserved for relatively exclusive fabric offerings.

Btw if any of you are a size small, I strongly recommend the silk button less polos. The 100% silk makes it very slinky and cool. I would gladly buy in more colors if it comes back next year. Don't sleep on it!

I was looking at that, but the photos made the length look really long lol.
I tried the cotton version with that collar and found the length was ok, but sleeves were too long and the collar had this really wide butterfly shape to it.

I'm guessing this one probably has the exact same fit.

How does this fit on you?

For ref, I'm about 5'7 and 145 lbs.

The medium fits me perfectly. I'm about 6'1" and 170lbs. One of my issues with some of the Cavour cashmere models is that medium is too short for me.

Has someone compared flat front linen and Tolomeo linen trousers? I like the flat fronts I bought recently, light and comfortable in warm weather. Like all lightweight linen, knees get rumpled fast, requiring iron after each wear. But perhaps a bit heavier linen of Tolomeo trousers does not sag around the knees too much in a few hours of wear?

If anyone is interested, I have a size 50, made in Italy, navy herringbone Marling & Evans sport coat up for sale. It's from FW21.

This jacket is still available if anyone is interested.

Will there be a longer version in the future for RTW? Like a normal and long length version? The new jackets and fabrics look great!
Yes, working on smples, so if they come out good, we might be able to introduce it for SS23 in some suit and jackets.

@kevinsvindland your new long sleeve merino polos look great! Are they on the shorter or longer side? Thinking they’d be perfect for layering with a sport coat in the shoulder seasons.
Hmm, tempted to say: "just right"..

I mostly wear 52 in tailoring, and xl in our polos. They are a fairly slim fit.
