So am I :)

I am not a big Cordovan guy myself, but I get the impression that a lot of people on here are..

What models do you think would be cool?

Dover and Galway will be surefire sellers. I won't be a buyer because I can't afford it but there's a crowd here and on Reddit GYW who would drop the money on these models.

Yes I reckon a Galway would be good.
Whiskey Cordovan with Mink Suede upper perhaps?

No, Dovers can't be done in cordovan.
Will likely break when being lasted, due to the apron
For me, personally, I would find that combination to be too contrasting. Some ideas that could work

Suede Combos:
Color 8/Clove or Berry suede
Whiskey/Tobacco suede
Cognac/ snuff suede
Cognac/mink suede
Black/black suede

Non-suede:
Whiskey/chestnut Utah
Color 8/burgundy Utah

Would anybody like to see (by see I mean purchase..) some Edward Green cordovan in our FW lineup?
Not a fan of cordovan and would prefer a country line-up (veldt boots and shoes, country calf etc..) but probably I am in the minority here

+1 on cognac +mink or cognac + snuff. Cognac + espresso pin grain would be great (and a rare combination).

Whiskey +chestnut/snuff would be very nice too but I already own whiskey Galway + chestnut, so personally not interested in whiskey.

I was thinking of Blue Cordovan with Blue Hatchgrain on the shaft.

Best approach would be to conduct a poll, and narrow it from there. Would also help to make it exclusive to Cavour.

I'm not as interested in cordovan (was interested in it in the past but after several cordovan shoes I just don't have a strong feel towards them anymore).

@kevinsvindland Hi Kevin, I figured it might get answered a little quicker here. But do you have any comments on weight/weave of the Cavour tuxedo shirt? I’m referring to the standard one, not the white tie version.

I only ask because I’d be wearing it in very hot weather.

Thanks!

Hi,

It is a four season 100/2 twill.
So not very heavy, and not very light either.
