Just took receipt of the Loro Piana Summer hopsack. Great fabric but I noticed faux buttonholes were added whereas my previous Mod 2 jackets did not have these. I typically have to lengthen the sleeves. Anyone know if taking out the faux buttonholes is possible or will it ruin the underlying fabric?
@kevinsvindland has said that they specifically use faux buttonholes to allow for easier alterations, which I really appreciate, so your tailor should have no problem.

Quick question,

Does the SF chat function suck? Or am I just not competent enough to fully understand how it works?

I believe I have some unanswered chat messages, but cant seem to find them again.

So to whom it may concern, I am not ignoring you. Please send regular PM, those I can manage... Haha..

The only way I’m able to *sometimes* make it work is on desktop. On mobile, it’s a navigational nightmare for me.

Same here, I saw a message on mobile while too busy to answer. So picked up the laptop, but cant seem to find it.

Glad its not just me then! 🤷‍♂️

I can’t be bothered anymore, and just use the PM function.

Done it multiple times... easily removed. Because there’s no bar-tack. You won’t have a problem.

Just got my Solaro suit back from the alterations shop, @kevinsvindland. Wow! That’s all I can say. Wonderfully soft and light. Great for Spring, Summer, and our warmer Autumn days!

Very glad you like it!

It is indeed a great fabric. Red stripe shirt, brown tie and suede loafers. And perhaps a cone of pistacchio gelato to go with that.

@kevinsvindland does the collar of the crew neck cotton pullover look good with an OCBD underneath?
Sure, that will work just fine.

If you want more collar to show, opt for the v-neck.

Jealous of all you folks who still have reason/need to wear tailored clothing - I’ve been living in sweats and T-shirts for over a year now :(
