Long shot, but if anyone has this jacket in a 50 and is thinking about parting with it, PM me.

Probably a good idea. :)
Thank you. I just received the suit and tried it on with just a t-shirt lol. Also can't believe how fast the suit shipped!
The sleeves are a bit long by an inch or 2 but I like the fit so far. I will post pictures of it soon.
Just want to know how I should ask my tailor to shorten the sleeves. Is it usually done by the shoulder seam?
I can't believe how big the lapels are. I measured them at 4". Makes my Spier & Mackay suit look like a child.

Got this in 48, an absolutely gorgeous piece especially for the price.

Fit was pretty close to my measurements. Might have to return though as in person, the color seems a lot darker than what is on the website. Could be the lighting so i'll have to check it in the sun this week.

My Measurements :
Jacket : Chest 38, Waist : 32 1/2, Shoulder: 17.5
Bottom : Waist 32.5, Hip 38

Here are their measurements :

I think those measurements are for the Ring suits and jackets as the size guide for the Cavour suits is different and the suits only go up to size 56...at least for the one's I'm looking at

Great! Glad you like it.

the sleeves are usually shortened from the cuff. Sham holes removed, and new ones put in. Some tailors have the tools to put in working buttonholes. It can be altered from the shoulder too, But it is usualy quite a bit more expensive.

Pictures of the solid navy twill 120’s suit. Aside from the sleeves and pants being hemmed, what alterations do I need?
I’m thinking about bringing in the waist a tiny bit.

Does not need alot more than the sleeve and trouser lengths. A small nip in the waist to add more shape to the jacket, even though the waist looks good on the frontal shot. I would Perhaps take it in slightly in the side seams to get it a little closer to your lower back.

These are all routine changes, so any half decent alterations tailor should be able to do a good job.

Thanks for sharing!:)

Is there any difference between the garments that will be sold at your London store/Oslo (online)? It seems like Sartoria Dalcuore is the manufacturer for some of your LDN garments?

Does anyone know how the Almond 2 last would compare to Meermin Hiro or Ron? I wear a UK 7.5 in both of those. Should I take a UK 7.5 in the Cavour Pennies as well?

In London our location will be more of a showroom and display of our RTW garments. So that you can come in, touch feel and try, and then order online.

We will stock some RTW from Ambrosi, Dalcuore, Attolini, 100 Hands, Saint Crispin’s and Stefano Bemer. But the core business in London will revolve around Custom orders. The above mentioned will be available year around, and in addition to that we will host several trunkshows with other makers.
(So Londoners, please let me know if you miss any tailors in London, and maybe we can do something about that)

The videos posted by myself and Dalcuore lately is our RTW being made. Dalcuore will only be available in London, atleast to begin with.

So Dalcuore is making your new hand-made tailoring line?

Good Afternoon,

This might sound like a stupid question, but how do Cavour's house brand suits fit?

I am thinking of getting this. However, I usually fit between a 50-52 depending on how slim or generous the garment is.
