My cat managed to somehow piss on my brand new pair of selvedge denim jeans.
How can I remove this piss stain?

He just pissed on these jeans about 10 minutes ago. I dont know how to care for these jeans. It's my first pair of selvege denim, and yes the cat piss is drying.

I wrapped them up in a zip lock bag and put them in the freezer. Should I have not done this and waited for the piss to dry first?

it should be washed in water before it drys. use a natural enzyme based cleaner when it has dried.

you can also try unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar and aluminum-free baking soda.

In Nepal I was pissed on by musk ox. Nasty buggers; don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The stench was horrendous. Anyway my wetnurse, Sita, went to our juriberry tree, picked a few, put in a mortar, made a paste, and rubbed it on yours truly. Viola! 30-odd years later and the smell is almost gone.

Do you have a juriberry tree in your yard?

You may get some responses from the denim-and-street-wear crowd who'll tell you cat piss adds to the lustre of selvedge. They'd be right.

You may want to ask yourself, why it pissed indoors in the first place.

Having some cat litter somewhere in your abode will prevent this from happening again.

No I posted there after seeing that thread. Thank you though, you have all been very helpful. This is my first pair of raw denim. I'm a noob in this game
