Hmm. Maybe this should be a multiple choice poll. I am a cat and dog person. I also like the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. Chocolate and vanilla. BMW and Mercedes. What is wrong with me?

I'm a dog person. They're companionable and useful.

Cats are tools of the devil, and apart from that, I always feel they're looking at me in a condescending way. And they piss in places for revenge.

I'm a cat person. We have two. They routinely try to kill me by tripping me as I walk down the stairs to feed them. Ungrateful little s***s.

I think I posted this before, but the difference between cats and dogs:

A dog looks at a person and thinks, "this person feeds me, gives me water, cares for me when I'm sick, and loves me. This person must be a god."

A cat looks at a person and thinks, "this person feeds me, gives me water, cares for me when I'm sick, and loves me. I must be a god."

Sorry, folks. Pets are simply incompatable with nice clothes. Add to the mix a son who has allergy-induced asthma and you've got one pet-free household.

We have a Bedllington Terrier. Brushed and combed daily, washed weekly, Bedlingtons don't shed!! Our clothes love the dog. [IMG]

LOL, I thought you were going to say your son was incompatable too.

I'm a dog person for sure.

That is why I do not have any pets. I love them to death though.

Uhh, don't you guys have closets with closing doors? Maybe a lintroller? It's crazy to deprive yourself of pet ownership because you're worried about your clothes.

I can't choose between cats and dogs, but if I were allowed to own one right now (college apartments, no pets), it would be a cat just because they're so low maintenance.

Just need to have designated "pet clothes" Seriously. I have specific shirts I only wear when I have the birds on me because they find fabric very entertaining. Plus when they get annoyed they purposely make holes in my shirts - talk of a way to get attention. I use that as a measure of quality - my sun conure has tried multiple times to make holes in my PDCs, he has been mostly unsuccessful (although his current kicks are the rivets). And this is a bird that for fun breaks and chews holes through wooden toys and destroys calcium blocks in a few hours!

Push comes to shove, cats. With people and animals both, I prefer independence. But I love dogs, and desperately wish that I had a large dog to walk and wrestle with. Small dogs, though, are the worst of both worlds.

I used to bike with my dog, he was 130 lbs; it was a lot of fun.

Anything that can be made into interior decorations.

However, I am a fan of nature especially trees.
