Casual luxury outerwear discussion thread

I don’t think there is a specific thread to discuss these kind of clothing items that are nowadays (somehow sadly) more relevant than ever. There is the overcoat thread but I’d like that this thread focuses more on casual but luxury (in terms of materials, make) outerwear. The kind of items you could possibly throw over a suit or sportcoat but are more suited to be worn on weekends over knitwear. I hope this thread can shed some light and provide useful technical information about these particular items which tend to be expensive and whose probably most famous maker is Loro Piana, a brand out of reach for most people.
