Casual Lace Up

What are your thoughts on these shoes for a casual lace up to wear with jeans?

Haven't been a fan of TB shoes but those look ok to me. I actually like them, they're simple enough and the darker toe adds some visual interest. The only thing I'd do is to polish them with a darker brown and get that transition between the lighter brown and dark brown a bit softer, but I think they'd look great with jeans.

Based on the picture I wouldn't buy them, but they could look nice when actually on feet. I find that happens a lot with shoes (or the other way around, look great in pictures but end up looking ugly when worn).
