I've been on the hunt for a while for a casual pair of dark brown shoes/sneakers and can't seem to find anything.

Bought a pair of Mediums, the quality is china horrible and these will probably wear out in two months.

Ordered a nice pair of a. Tenstoni from Yoox - the shoe was coming undone from the sole - had to send back for full refund - wasn't psyched with Yoox to be honest.

Pantofola d'Oro look cool, but they look like soccer boots.

VCH had a great pair of Sutor Mantellassi sneaks, but not my size. http://www.virtualclotheshorse.com/viewer.html?7315.JPG

Any ideas? I'd like something in the stylish Italian or English vein. I need the help of SF crew.

Thanks.

I like Brown suede from any number of makers, including Mantellassi.

I also like a shoe brand called Henderson. I don't think they have the elite construction of the EGs etc., but they are extremely versatile (essentially eveything short of a suit)
