Any recommendations for a dark blue blazer that can be worn with jeans, for around 200$?

Thanks

There are a huge amount of options, anything from getting an inexpensive blazer on ebay/thrift store, to going with a tried and true option like J. Crew/Banana Republic/H&M/Zara.

I picked up a blue blazer on sale from Uniqlo for about 4,000Y (~$40 US) but I don't know if they have the same deals in the US although it's probably worth a try

I recommend you get the Viktor & Rolf H&M black denim blazer... it goes well with all shades of jeans as the denim is dark... the fit is very nice!

First, let me caution you that in MC they define a "blazer" to be a navy sportcoat with metal buttons. There are at least three stylish ways you can make a navy sportcoat look Street:
  • Contemporary cut: slim, high armholes, high button stance, narrow lapels, etc.
  • Not worsted-wool fabric: cashmere, sharkskin, mohair, a touch of synthetic, velvet (is for homosexual), etc.
  • Pattern: stripe or windowpane
So you need to figure out how much you're willing to pay to get fashionable features and what quality construction is worth to you. Personally, I'm trying to figure out how fashionable of a sportcoat I can get and still wear in business-casual?
