I was reading a style blog about a week ago. The blogger wrote about the importance of having a cashmere t-shirt in white, grey, and black. I contacted him, but never heard back. My question to you all, have you ever worn or heard of cashmere t-shirts? Before reading that blog, I've never heard of them. I've also never seen them selling...or maybe they're popular and I've overlooked them. Sounds like it would be something real warm to be wearing on an already warm summer day.

Yes, I wear some and totally love them.

You can get them from Armani - but not Exchange. Cost can be from several hundred to well over $1K, sometimes they come up on sale too.

Btw, solid black and navy - yes, never even seen a white one. I also have a gray - black ringer.

cheap merino - Smartwool ($50-60)
not so cheap: Icebreaker, Ibex, Arcteryx ($80 - 100+)

Actually, I just copped a nice red ("inferno) Icebreaker on sale for $39 from REI online

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
