So, I think this is the right place to ask this question. Last year, I tried this cashmere cardigan on at the Cucinelli store, and I liked it so much, I paid a crazy amount of money for it. Dont get me wrong, I was comfortable paying for it, and I have no regrets because I like it so much. But I want more of them in different colors and patterns, and I have plenty of time to shop around before winter. I have looked online, but haven't found anything that I like as much in other, less expensive brands. I'm sure there must be companies selling a similar, but less expensive product, no?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ralph Lauren generally ( and RRL specifically ) offer colorwork shawl cardigans in cashmere , the RRL ones are often hand knit . $$ but cheaper than cuci

I did look at their stuff. It's really nice, but the ones like this one all seemed to have a belt tie on them, which I am not crazy about. I think those were purple label though. I'll check out the RRL. Thank you!

Very hard to find similar product because of how BC cut specific italian shape, style , quality and pattern...there are too many factors, if you dont want another BC then you have to make some tradeoffs. They have 2 yarns, they "basic" that starts with 1ply 14µ and their feather yarn, a lighter thread that is used to competes a higher ply number jacquard knits cardigans/ garments but also a higher price ofc.

couldnt resist, the measurements were on point for me, the back length chest and shoulders. It feels heavier than their 4 ply knits
Info, in general they told that they have 30-40% discounts in January but they do random garments discounts (so not all) and also you are not sure they will still have your size

I’m pretty confident I saw this one at the BC outlet in Chicago (50-60% off retail and in large quantities). I think they do one style of this each S/S and A/W

Yes, remember this is for size S that i bought for this particularly garment. Other garments, same size can have different sizes, especially those from their unisex collection
Chest 52cm
Body length 66cm
Skirt width 39.5cm

It's not uncommon for the unsold BC to end up in an outlet somewhere. They don't toss what they don't sell, like certain other companies allegedly do.

Problem is, usually my size is gone by the time they make it there. They must make more of the sizes in the middle, which makes sense, because they are usually the ones left for the outlets. The bigger and smaller sizes are often gone before they make it to that point.

I have that same one, I bought it in January I think at -30%. It's super nice, mid-heavy and very comfortable to wear.
