Cashmere or camel hair, and why?

I prefer cashmere. It looks better.
Camel hair is not unpleasant to see; but it's always exuding this "elder gent" look... You're spending 2k on a nice fitting coat (in any color), and you still convey the impression you're stealing your grandpa's clothes. So, no.
Same tailor for your jacket, same cut, same color: cashmere will never disappoint you.
