Hello all,

First post here. I was wondering how durable do you think this coat is... http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Golde...ar_ML00184_Color=NAVY&contentpos=13&cgid=0222

It's 100% cashmere hand tailored and made over in Italy. Unfortunately, it doesn't say where its from, but I suspect it could be from Mongolia. Does anyone have this coat and care to chime in with their opinions on it? It's wicked expensive but thankfully I have a 60% off discount :D.

How long do you think this coat would last for? Lastly how many times do you think you could/should wear it maximum a week to ensure it last for a long time?

I'm brand new to cashmere and it seems as if you can only wear it once in a long while, but I feel like this must be constructed significantly better than other products on the market and am wondering if this means you can wear it more often without destroying it prematurely. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply... I hope so. Its hand made in Italy, so quality shouldn't be a problem. Granted there are little pests that could interfere with that. Next step after I purchase it will be to figure out how to best deal with them since I don't have any cedar chests hanging around. Thinking Garment bags and some Moth Cakes/repellants should do the trick. I would hate to use moth balls.
