Caught me off guard today, but there's a large selection of very slick sportcoats and suits. Salesman noticed my excitement and bewilderment and stated I was probably the fifth person like that over the last week. We're talking proper Caruso with white tag inside the jacket. The slim fit kind. I've never seen Caruso in NYC and I've been going to this Bloomingdales for 15 years. I know Barney's has always had their BNY line, but its not the same thing. In any event, there is a large selection and apparently they will be building a section specifically for Caruso along with a few other Italian brands that are on their way. He couldn't elaborate which ones, however.

I've always been partial to Bloomingdales. They're aggressive with the reductions and offer discounts frequently.

Figured I would give the folks a heads up on here. I know Caruso is very popular and quite frankly, it was this forum that really made me notice the tailor and now have two slick sport coats. Considering its Bloomingdales, I'm going to bag one of those grey $1600 suits for $800 in 2.5 months. Everything is downstairs by the Canali section.
