If you were to receive a watch regardless of price, would you rather receive the Omega of your choice or the Cartier of your choice? And which model?

I wear my father's Omega that he bought in Switzerland in the late 60's. Its a really large stainless steel automatic Omega Seamaster with an alarm. I also have a gold filled dress automatic Seamaster that I bought for $60 from a watchmaker because the customer didn't want to pay to get it fixed.......idiot.......

Ideally, neither. But if forced, Omega. Edit: If I were indeed forced to, it would be a vintage Omega, maybe like

(from http://www.classicwatch.com/asp/watc...6%27%29&Page=2) I just like the minimalist design of old fashioned military timepieces I guess... There are some dressier Omega I like but they are far and in between.

I agree. I like it about the same as Rolex or perhaps just slightly more. Cartier makes some nice looking watches, especially in the Collection Privee.

I like Omega, and have a few old ones. However, for some reason, I like the new Divan Tank:

i have been watching the cartier santos 100 for a long time as well, but in the end, i think i really could live with something more understated and simple - the tank solo would do nicely

the more complicated things are, the easier i get bored of them......

there was a scene in casino royale when daniel craig and vasper lynd was on the train and vasper asked "is that a rolex?" and daniel replied "no, omega"

now, remember that omega is a sponsor of this movie

i know that many of you like omega, but i wanted to throw up right there and then in the cinema

I doubt that many here like Omega. I certainly don't

Cartier Pasha crono or Cartier Roadster for dress.

If I wanted a sport type watch, I would go for the Omega Planet Ocean.

Any Omega? It's a no-brainer. Omega makes a rattrapante, a tourbillion, coaxial movements......I'm not aware that Cartier makes anything but nice jewelry with standard eta movements (I could be wrong about that, but I'm not aware).

If I could have any watch, it would be a Patek Phillippe, an AP Royal Oak, or a stainless Daytona.
