And now, gentlemen, I present to you the gayest car ever:

    The Honda CRX!

Either that or the Del Sol:

I certainly wouldn't consider the old Mini--a very small car--feminine. Nor a Fiat 500 or Lancia Fulvia, another small car.

When my car broke down in undergrad, I drove my roommate's Del Sol. While it was a somewhat fun car to drive (5-sp, targa top), it was decidedly a gay car. How come my roommate had one of those, you might ask? His other car was a Land Rover Defender with all the off-road trimmings. Overcompensate? Absolutely!

I drove the SC430 for a few times. It is a masterpiece! Aren't all masterpieces somewhat feminine in some ways? The pursuit of perfection without regards for gender identity?

Harumph! I take exception to that sir! I drove a Honda CRX from 1988 until 2000.

It was a chick magnet back in HS too. I have fond memories of that car...I have to go now.

Modern cars all tend to envelope you from any sensations. Besides, who really needs cruise control or steering wheel controlled radios?

My high school tennis coach drove a teal Ford Festiva with pink accents. And his last name was Liberace! "Li-bur-ayce!" he'd yell.

Aforementioned Jettas, but the Del Sol probably takes the cake.

Never considered that a car could, or could not be, gay, though "chick car" is a time-honoured term of derision for:

white VW Rabbit Cabriolets -- any vintage
    Late 80s Toyota Celica
    Del Sol

    • The Miata is so obvious. Remember that movie "Go"?
    • VW Cabriolet from 80s-present - gay
    • Jetta - mostly a girl car, but also gay
    • Karmann Ghia - girl or probably gay unless it's got a Porsche engine swapped in (I still like these though)
    • Del Sol - it's practically a Miata
    • Nash Metropolitan
    • I can see the Outback or other Subes being a lesbian car of choice, but to be honest most people I see riding around in those are androgynous hetero-couples of veggie-people
    • Lexus SC300 or SC4xx, whatever the other one was
    • BMW 3-series convertible

I'm sure I'll think of more

    • In California in the '80s, this was the ultimate girly car. A gay guy wouldn't be caught dead in it.
