Compared to the Mustang's of the late 70's when I was a kid...those 80's Mustangs really aren't that bad. Look at these abominations ...

My mom had a brick red 69 Mustang that everyone thought was the coolest car ever. But the 70s? 70s Mustangs were fuuuuugly!!

sidenote: I had a chance to get a Mustang II R/C car back in the early days of R/C. As much as I wanted it, I felt it was ugly ugly ugly. I held out for a Ferrari 308 GTB R/C car

I kind of like 1 and 4.
1 is barely livable but a far cry from early Mustangs.

4 has a trans-am and firebird aesthetic that looks good from that angle only. front end is way too long. Looks ok for its time from the rear to the A-pillar

Sorry, I'm going to have to agree to disagree. I think the 70s Trans Am is far better looking from any angle. The Cobra Mustang of the 70s is a stumpy looking Trans Am wannabe. I actually think from the rear to the A pillar is the worst part. I think if the back were longer it might have balanced the long front end better.

Tesla truck is nuts. It is like a deloreon, lotus esprit, and an f150 had an orgy and produced a glorious offspring.

The Fox Body Mustang was in my opinion a nice style, of course you guys post pictures of ugly ones, but when done right they can be very attractive. Plus you can't beat the sound of a nice exhaust on the 5.0 V8

It looks like a cool vehicle, but as somebody that used to actually use a pickup truck for loading big heavy crap in the back of it the design of this isn't practical for commercial applications.

On another note what’s with SUV these days Maybach GLS actually looks worse than regular GLS. New AM SUV looks like Porsche SUV

This is totally crazy but i like that pickup. I am the farthest thing from a Tesla guy and possibly even less of a pickup guy than i am a Tesla guy. And I think Honda Ridgelines (closest aesthetic comparison) are stupid.

Yet, i like it. For $40k it might be fun just to have and mess around in.

I don't see Ford, GM, Dodge truck owners rushing out to switch their trucks for this. I'm not sure who Tesla is targeting this truck to because traditional truck buyers aren't even going to look at this.
