I test drove one about a year ago. I commented that it was enjoyable to drive. In sport+ it was fun to drive and the throttle was very responsive. I like the styling, it is very comfortable obviously. Only thing I didn't like was the fact it had back seats.
That’s pretty high praise for a Lexus. I agree with you guys that the styling is great. Also it’s clear that emphasis was placed on unique design inside and out, which i appreciate because that’s always a high-dollar risk for an automaker.

If the drive doesn’t suck worse than say, a M850i, then dis cud b gud

2-5 each including the one in the showroom. They were selling at MSRP at the time (or at least not being advertised with any discount).

I find all of this hard to believe.

Obviously take it with a grain of salt from a guy who has never driven a 911 of any variety.

Edit: and I like the idea of a grand touring style car as it would be my daily.

I find all of this hard to believe.

I'm a pathological liar.

The 4-door AMG GT? That’s a handsome looking car with some interesting spec. I only have two questions about it. First, as great as the E63S is, can this be better enough for people to pay $50k more for it? Second, why isn’t it called the CLS AMG?

I’d take the E63S all day long—particularly the wagon version. Per the tradition of German sport sedans, I want a wolf in sheep’s clothing—a sedan that looks like a sedan, not one stuck halfway morphing into a sports car.
