The Avalon had no obvious way to adjust the following distance. This was 4-5 years ago, so newer versions may have more options.

I don't commute, but I routinely use cruise control on the highway to maintain a consistent, non-attention-getting speed.

I like seeing just how much driving I can do with the cruise control.

Mash that “+” button and see if you can get it to downshift to accelerate!

Cruise control could only be so polarizing on StyFo.

Would full self driving be peak cruise control?

I am not qualified to make such a determination as I've never once circumnavigating the 'Ring.

Wtf with everyone using CC and lane keep for driving to work? I’m speeding every morning switching in and out of lanes overtaking cars like I’m an F1 driver. Doesn’t matter which car I’m in

And I agree about the adaptive cruise control being sort of a PITA in traffic.
I love Audi's ACC. Their traffic jam assist is fantastic. It slows the vehicle to a complete stop if needed making stop and go traffic a joy.

I just wish I could permanently disable start/stop instead of having to do it every time I get in the car.
