Skittles are out, wet putty is in.

boo . fun fact the og fender guitars used car paint and in most cases didn't change the names : lake placid blue , olympic white , dakota red , shoreline gold etc .

i almost never notice the color of guitar as i'm buying , somehow most of my electrics have been candy apple red ( which was not a car color )

It’s one of those decade defining fad colors - like teal metallic was for the 90’s and copper was for the 00’s.

I do like chalk, nardo gray and Grigio telesto though. It’s not a bad fad. But, as usual, it gets ruined when it goes mainstream - nothing like seeing your special Audi RS color on a Hyundai crossover

Does anyone here have a 992 GT3? If so, curious about the ownership experience.

I’m dead set on having that as my next car once I move to a car friendly location (who knows when that’ll be - maybe in the next 2-3 years). That, or an Audi R8 V10+.

Is carbon buildup just part of GDI life or can it be minimized through fuel additives? This was the Audi at 185k km and holy made a big difference

Looks eco-friendly.

My climbing partner has a better comeback to this than I do, so I’ll use his: if I drive my car a third as many miles per year as you do, but get half the gas mileage, and drive the same car for fifteen years, I’m still more eco friendly than you.

Cool story, bro. It all hinges on your assumptions, which you have no way of verifying, but cool story.

Twitter bonus finally hit?

Kind of lucked out. I ordered one from this dealer back in September, and have been getting crickets (incidentally, crickets are a nutritious eco-friendly snack) for months. Out of the blue, I got a text message from one of the salespeople there asking if I was interested in this one.

I thought you had ordered a Telluride? (or is that someone else in the thread)

Someone else. I have four kids, so anything but a full size SUV would be too small.
