Still getting used to the QV. Nice to have a better media centre and better mileage - the tank is 2/3rd the size of my last car but is on target to have 1/3rd more range.

^that particular one, you won’t be able to get for even double the $60k budget, but I’ve written multiple times here that i believe the 997 is the sweet spot for the most modern 911 that still has the feel of the classic ones. Any RWD example would be my pick.

Yeah, idgaf about air cooled vs water cooled. I just like 911s and they’re fairly reliable if well maintained.

There’s no single car that really hits everything I want: towing ability, cargo space, no body roll, but also really fun to drive. It seems like 2 cars is the better option overall next year.

There is a brown 997.2 that I see on the road around here and I always break my neck looking at it as it passes. While I really like the brown color, I don't know if I would end up buying one. My wife and I both agree on Guards Red as the choice.
