I finally picked up my Porsche yesterday morning. The car sounds and rides amazing. Only drawback is it's a ************* to climb in and out of. I'm glad I got it at a relatively not old age of 37 before I got too old to get in and out of the car. So far, I've put on about 80 miles on the breakin.

Congratulations! The easiest way I've found to get in and out of low sports cars is butt in first, then swing both legs in. To get out, both legs out, then stand up.

Pretty awesome. Have you sent oil samples in yet for analysis?

I thought only the Bronco Sport was out. That’s just an Escape.
I’d like to see the real Bronco. Maybe once they Raptor/Warthog it up I’ll get one.

I’ve seen like 5-6 new Defenders. They look really good in some colors. Definitely don’t look like a car I’d off-road. They look like a more “I’m pretending I’m sporty and go off-road but didn’t want a Jeep and Range Rovers are played out”

The only warthog is the A-10.

Change in life circumstances detailed elsewhere makes the Tesla Model S Plaid an option going forward. Not sure about the control yoke and removal of all stalks -- seems like a pain ********** doing something as basic as indicating a turn? Getting a very Apple vibe of "it looks cooler OK, so **** your user experience."

This morning I got a late Father's Day present from my oldest son. While waiting in the camp drop off line, he likes to stick his head out of the sunroof and wave to his other friends doing the same thing. Well today he had a marble and decided it would be a good idea to shove it into the window track. Window still opens but I can't find the damn marble and it rolls around as you start, stop, and turn.

I hear that it ups the resale value.

Congrats!!! Looks Fantastic!

If you think getting in and out of that is tough, try getting in and out of a Lotus Elise with the hard top in place. I was about your age when I test drove one. Fun to drive, but man getting in and out I pulled a muscle in my neck, and I'm not a very tall guy. After that, I nixed the idea, since I didn't want to have to have a chiropractor on speed dial.

Speaking of Lotus cars. Here are a few photos from a local meet with friends. One of our dedicated Porsche friends and fan (he has 6) plus a 308 Ferrari, just picked up this Evora.

A few other cars at the meet.

Plus a photo of the 328 that a car buddy who is into photography took. This guy is super cool and designed the livery for 2 racing Porsches.
