3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . . XC90.
Well, Foo ... I hear the only European car more reliable than MB is Porsche. And while I love your car ... I don't see it as a practical every day car. Fun, oh, hell yes. Practical, NO!

“Practical” is relative. We regularly do four hour drives with two kids in the back!

Was able to squeeze in one last V8 sedan before the inevitable transition to EVs and SUVs. Pleasantly surprised at how practical this beast has turned out to be so far.

Glad that works for you. Yours is really the only Porsche I like, but I already have my 2 seater and am satisfied. And now that I live outside the City I have need of more varied vehicles. This is for sedans and SUVs.

Also 6'3" and 6'1" will have a hard time getting in the back. ;-) The generation after mine got taller.

My head swims with the possibilities.

what’s the smallest 911 body they can fit the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 motor into?

Back to back testing of 14 UHP and UUHP tires on a GTI:

Interesting watch. Not surprised that the PS4S is still one of the best choices for a summer tire on a street car.

Incidentally, I just don't think white is the right color for MK8 GTI. That huge grill looks a little Wallace and Gromit to me.

In other colors, it's slightly less noticeable horrible.

@RSS, drop the GLS like I did and grab an XC90. It has a nice "protection package" that comes with rubber mats that interlock and cover the entire back of the vehicle. Perfect for the pups, or in my case, a road bike.

I dig the factory "angry eyes" look, I remember this being a big thing back in my MKIV days. Not to sure how I feel about the grill section, though it does allow for some good air flow for a big ass front mount intercooler.

"i'm so angry!" bring back happy faces, or at least make them more neutral.

:)

I like the furrowed brow just not the big mouth, but as you said, I'm sure it's super functional.

My previous car was a MK7.. I miss it a lot.. MK8 seems to build off of that.
