Well so tri motor really soon?

I don’t think I want something that heavy & unaerodynamic to have that kind of top speed capabilities. 155...stay alive!

it's no more or less aerodynamic than any other sports sedan that can do 200mph anyway?

E63S and M5 are probably like 4300-4500 lbs so maybe 500lbs less. Even just 300lbs is a **** ton on those cars. If we're talking 18 wheeler trucks then yea 300lbs doesn't matter.

yea, but why would you be worried about high speed stability on a heavier car?

yea that steering wheel is going to be annoying at parking speed (unless they variable ratio the heck out of it?) Also what's with Tesla and HUD, why are they always against it...

I assume the typical use case for model s is highway cruising, also Taycan is just as heavy and stop pretty well (though I'm 100% sure Tesla is going to cheapn out on brake vs. Porsche)

Yup and I wouldn’t want those either, at least those aren’t ridiculously bottom heavy due to the battery placement.

0-60 in 2 secs/9-second quarter mile cars are stupid fast. I’ve gone for rides, but never driven such vehicles. The closest I’ve gotten in the drivers seat was the Taycan Turbo (which I wasn’t allowed to launch) and my 570s (which I did).

this ship has already sailed far over the horizon, but it’s crazy how people with no skills or experience can just lease these cars for a four-figure monthly payment and unleash themselvea onto the world...

My friend just told me he's getting an Alpina X7. I don't know what to say. I thought he and I had pretty strong alignment on cars but like maybe I just misread the situation?

For a split second I though, huh, maybe the Alpina version doesn't have the honkin grill but nope, it's just as bad. I don't love the GLS63 but it's a far sight less offensive looking. This is the least bad picture I could find.

Sorry to any X7 owner here who thinks their car is attractive. I'm sure it's me and not you.

It's no Volvo, I'll give you that. ;)

these are the new benchmark though, guess others will have to do the same...
