I'd still look hard at that particular one.
If rusty? walk. if not? protect it.

Just get him a Corolla and be done with it. If he complains it's not what he wanted tell him tough ****. Life is filled with disappointments. You wanted a star athlete as a son that could get a scholarship and instead you're left with him.

Right? If my son was 18 and wanted a car? That Corolla would have an electric fence around it. with threat of baby photo embarrassment if he gets near it.

Found that 3 days ago, while looking at another car. only going to ring the doorbell with cash in my pocket. so not yet.

But it is a contender to replace the yellow monster as my play car.

Carolla's are boring. Get him like a Mazda 3 or CX-3.

Tacos of that time period were noted for having the frame and undercarriage rust out. Think there was a class action suit. That probably is the cause of the part changes.

One of the guys at my office has a 2009 Taco, with 90K miles. As part of a recall they replaced the entire frame last year. It was crazy...he had a loaner car from the Toyota for I think 2 weeks or so.

Yea OM's kid will be so excited to drive this he will ask for a bike...
Welcome to the crushing disappointment of being an adult. Better for the kid to get used to it now rather than later.

So you’re saying we never needed to send our boys into the Sandbox, we just had to sit there and wait for the Taliban’s technicals to all rust out??

They rock Toyota's, because Subaru hates the hot start.
