I need to learn to take pics like this

It's pretty simple.

Step 1: Hire local photographer

Step 2: Pay local photographer

Step 3: Wait forever

I can't take a half decent photo to save my life, and the rate of ~$5 per photo is a bargain (in my opinion).

This Sport Turismo GTS just came up for sale and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t considering selling off the Range Rover and trading in the RS for it.

Its definitely my favorite version of a Panamera. Interesting thing is I've only ever seen them at the dealership. I've never seen one on the road, a PCA event, a Cars & Coffee, a car show etc.

I do know a few local photogs. Maybe I’ll find time for someone to shoot them if i can stomach these miscreants “helping” drive my cars

I let my son take the 2002 out for a drive last night for the first time. He brought it back, safe and sound. He said it was great to drive but that "the headlights totally suck." He's not wrong.

Did it cost you extra for him to do donuts in them for a dramatic effect?

That's some of the difference, but you might be surprised at how little difference that makes in the end especially for small online photos.

One of the biggest mistakes most beginning photographers make is not changing their position: they tend to take photos from where they're standing and at the height that they're standing at, so the compositions all kind of have the same looking down perspective. In both of the photos posted, the photographer got down to the level of the cars so he gave you a view that not many people tend to see. The isolation of certain parts of the car like the front end of the 964 also emphasizes one of the cool parts of the car. People have an intuitive attraction to cars, but good car photographers know what specifically makes a particular car attractive and use a camera to isolate that for you, so it's more introspection and thought than equipment.

BTW I didn't mean to impugn the clarity slider or overcast conditions. That's an effective solution to shooting car photos in that kind of environment.
