So my father hit me up the other day to talk computers and, naturally, the conversation would its way into cars. He currently has a C6 Corvette convertible that is getting long in the tooth so he has been looking for a replacement.
There is as surprising amount of storage space in the C6 and that's why he loves it. He's a big time tennis guy so he can throw all of his **** back there with room to spare. And when he takes road trips, it can easily swallow all the luggage he & his wife carry without breaking a sweat. One of the initial reasons he balked at the C7 is because the storage space was halved. Well he went to see the C8 the other day and was shocked at the lack of storage
So I'm supposed to give him recommendations on what to buy. These are the what I have to keep in mind
Jaguar F-Type is out due to lack of trunk space
Maserati Granturismo is not really reliable enough for everyday use plus it's old and about to be totally revamped
Aston Martin DB11 is even less reliable for everyday usage and probably costs more than he wants to spend
I'm at a loss. Help?

1. He likes sports/GT cars with big motors
2. He lives in NYC so a "regular" A/T is preferable to a dual clutch car
3. It has to be a convertible
3. Has to have decent storage space for tennis ****
4. It's his go to car during the nicer months and his designated road trip car
