Was going to do a compare and contrast versus the original, but I realized they are the same width so the rear angle doesn't show any difference.

Still, happy with the shot. I admit I enjoy that the titanium exhaust tips have blued in a way that matches the paint.

Score 1 to Titanium. The blue-ing effect is aesthetically pleasing to me.

TV - Back in my RSX days, I really wanted a Fujitsubo but opted for something else. The Fujitsubo sounded great on N/A cars but the piping was a little restrictive for boosted applications.

RSX?! Cool Car. Honda make some well designed stuff.

Fujitsubo are a pseudo OEM manufacturer. similar to brands like Recaro,BBS,Brembo,etc.
making direct replacement exhausts for almost any car.
They make for a variety of tuning companies, like Prova. and they also make the GTR Nismo exhausts.
producing everything from the "My stock exhaust is junk and rusted out in one winter" direct full stainless upgrade that sounds mild, To some really rowdy ones.
They also use Titanium on some of their models.
Really, Fujitsubo are the biggest supplier in exhausts.
Perhaps you experienced one of their tamer models.

I agree that exhausts are all about tone. I viewed clips of the Kakimoto for about 2 minutes and agree that it seems better than the Tomei. Starts deep and develops into a high pitched snarl at the top

Seems weird, perhaps. that we are talking about tones,and acoustic properties . but it really does make a difference. 100% The Kakimoto is almost acoustically perfect.They really put effort into getting the sound right. I'm seeing them on variety of cars these days. but mostly Kei cars. (to give the small cars some sound) and of course, on Subaru's.

interesting design. but i have seen this on a car in person. looks great,fits great, sounds pretty good. it has good flow in the mid section.

This one has seen enough heat cycles to really show the beauty of it. it is beautiful. to look at. but imho, the brittle nature of the metal, combined with a plethora of pie cuts, and welding. will provide a very low acoustic value.

Look at the bends, the metal, the quality, the long resonator in the mid pipe, slip joint, and inward back box. the tip designed to lower the end note. this, my friends, would sound like Church.

Putting a single pipe on a car designed for duals. is a strong choice.and duals can sound weird.
the compromise is the Kakimoto. as it would closest sound like 2 singles.

and that. is my 2 cents.

Took kid to play ground this morning, had a AMG GT63S drive by pass the stop sign for pedestrians crossing, it does sound good even at low rev for a turbo engine.

GT63S = the Mercedes Panamera

the best sounding crossover is the Levante/Stelvio QF though. But the Macan with PSE is pretty decent
