I always cringe when someone says they want to repaint their car like it's changing a light bulb.

    +2.

the middle seat in the back of midsize cars like 5's and E's are not meant to be used; why these cars only come in 5 seat arrangements and the bigger 7's and S's now come in 4 place configurations, I will not figure out, until I'm in the back seat drinking car-chilled beers. I have had 5'ers before though and the trunks are always capacious, you could fit at least 3 dead bodies in the back.

Personally I rather run the car into a wall and destroy it.

Giving me trouble with the the times I have to take it to the shop because some part decided to croak on me.

Here's my car, 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 (Please excuse how dirty it is, I need to wash it):

May/June will be our month of seperation, though. It looks like the Audi Q5 ( S Line ) will oust my old flame. I already drove him last month for one day, was as keen as mustard, will have another test drive next week though and finalize a decision...

    A very nice ride. Congrats.

(Can't help but think a big timer should have gotten the M5 [IMG] )

Looked at some cars this weekend and talked to a couple of dealers.

Audi has such terrible leases it's not even worth considering, will not purchase or own another german car out of warranty. Checked out the new 5 which is much much nicer than the e60 except for the horrendous hood lines which they are incorporating on pretty much every model. It kills everything it has going for it including the beautiful rear and interior.

Thought about a cts-v briefly, maybe will still test drive. Can't bring myself to pick up a new m3.

I know you mean this in jest, but I'll never understand how people manage to seriously cross-shop cars like that. Actually, I do understand, but it bugs the fuck out of me. An M5 is bigger, more powerful, more expensive, and more luxurious than an M3, but not better. The two cars are of two distinctly different characters. Personally, I find both the current E60-bodied M5 and new F10-bodied 5-series completely unappealing. They're too tech-laden and too heavy. The E34 and E39 M5s, however, were gorgeous: [IMG] [IMG]

IMHO, the E39 M5 was the probably closest to the most perfect sports sedan ever made.
