I like everything but the taillights/trunk area on that new S Coupe. Looks like a VW from behind.

That doesn't bother me and it's not meant to be an M car.

They're trying to compete with the Audi S-line (the S4s, etc.,; not the S-line cosmetic upgrade packages).

The rear quarter panel look a bit large in context to the window, but the CL really needs an update.

S coupe looks nice but the back is pretty bad. I also think it needs a more substantial looking steering wheel for such a big car inside and out.

The more I look at it, the more I see Passat CC.

I was hoping the S coupe would be closer to looking like the concept than it does. Nonetheless, I like the pics. Look forward to seeing the AMG version.

From what I've read it should be larger, than the CL almost S class dimensions.

As I said earlier its about time for a CL update, the current one is old as fuck.

Let's not pretend like each time the CL was redesigned it was not one of if not the sexiest luxury coupe on the market. With the exception of the facelift that is out right now, the CL has always been absolutely gorgeous in my opinion.

I have gotten over the fact that cars are not being offered in manuals. My spirited driving is kept to a minimum and I do not track my cars so the novelty has worn off. I love how used GT3 prices for older manuals has risen due to the new GT3 being PDK only.
