Better seat of the pants experience? Most critics say the reskinned R8 aka Lambo is less so... meaning that it's an incredibly better car in many ways... yet no longer has that wooly, edge of a knife craziness that lambos once had.

That was a misleading statement. What I meant was that I'm much more open to selling my car if it makes sense, as opposed to 'fighting' against reason for the sake of having a fun toy.

My CPO warranty expires in 7 months, too, so I want to sell my car before that expiration date if I do indeed decide on selling it.

Huracan? I thought it was supposed to be called Cabrera?

if it comes out next year, it might soon be time to snag a Gallardo on the market drop

I'm not sure what you're saying.

Are you saying the Aventador is a reskinned R8? (It's not)

That the current platform Gallardo is a reskinned R8? (It's not; the Gallardo platform and engine were out long before the R8).

My point was that critics and enthusiasts alike are appreciating the Aventador for what it is; a Lamborghini. Which is to say, wild and a little rough around the edges. For instance, Lambo fitted a rougher shifting single clutch transmission to the Aventador, which not only shaved weight, be kept some of the "kick in the ass" feel from each gear shift.

While no modern car has the craziness of the old Lambos, the current Lamborghinis are still the closest thing.

I was saying they were simply an Audi in Lamborghini clothing, just that the most common refrain from most critics and commentary sends to be that, since Audi involvement they are more refined and the critics think " that's a shame", but not to say they are still not superb.

Stupid question for the BMW BJ club - where do I see the outside temp on the iDrive or center cluster? I haven't had a Bimmer in like 10 years and it used to be on the OBC I think, but OBC is just showing me that I make 7mpg and average 7mph :fu:

There should be a button to toggle through the different center cluster information displays on your turn signal stalk. If it's anything like mine, it will be at the edge of the stalk and a push button.

I'm assuming you mean a regular C7, not a Hennessey one haha. But yeah, the car is pretty amazing, looks gorgeous too.
