I'm glad they kept dat hood bulge
Phoenix Yellow and Laguna Seca Blue are back!!!!
Went a little overboard on the creases in the front and rear bumper/diffusers, I think.
Last gen's front air scoops/diffusers were juuust right of aggressive/sporty and still clean. New one is just one too many.
e92 on has horrid bumpers, I find m tech bumpers nicer
agreed on those bumpers. terrible.
they are also getting too big. I'm still driving my E39 M5 and I want to downsize.
M4 rear reminds me of M6 . not a fan.
Silverstone, not white.
Personally, I like the M3 more than the M4 (although I would be curious to see the M4 in the Yas Marina Blue they used on the M3). I'm just not a fan of the 4-series from the B-pillar back. It looks too elongated in my opinion, whereas the E46 M3 had a bulbous, compressed rear end.
And it's funny they brought back Phoenix Yellow. I used to absolutely despise the colour until I saw this particular car for sale a couple of years back:
Curious to know how much these will spec out to. I would live to take one for a spin. Hopefully it impresses me more than the E9x M3, which really did nothing for me.
What's the difference between silverstone and white?
White is white. Silverstone is.. silverstone. I don't even think you can order a BMW with a pure white interior. The only offering I can think of is this putrid 2-tone they offer on the 6-series:
They both look white to me one just has a light grey in it, they are both WAY too light to be useful in a car unless you are Tony Montana or James May.
BMW offers 4 near-white shades of leather on the M cars.
Silverstone is close, with a bit of a grey (/silver) tone to it...
Platinum has a slight gold tinge and champagne is a very light beige.
Opal White is basically pure white and a nightmare waiting to happen.
All in all, the colours are actually quite descriptive of their actual tone. A nice change from the marketing mumbo-jumbo usually used to name vehicle colours.
All 4 colours, if seen on their own, look very white, especially with a dark exterior or contrast leather.
steering wheel is lulz
i want an m4
Those seats look great. And from the action shots I prefer the looks of the M3 over the M4
how about you get an m3 and i'll get an m4 -- then, we swap badges.
