I don't get this either. Without a bit of training or an orientation these cars are dangerous. I wonder if the driver disengaged the traction control.

the driver, and other victim, was supposedly a experienced race car driver, roger rodas.

even on top gear the stig (usually a F1 driver in reality) had trouble with it spinning it multiple times on the track. it took a professional F1 driver a whole morning to finally figure the car out before testing the track times on the top gear track.

Everyone screws up all the time, even F1 drivers. If they were driving at high speeds in an area with no run-offs or other escape paths as a real racetrack would have, there is no room for mistakes. And in a car-tree collision, the tree always wins, even a little one like in that picture.
