Jalopnik just finished out a series on owning a Ferrari. Pretty much matches all my friends' experiences - e.g., pain in the ass 90% of the time for 10% of goodness. Best clip is him "picking up women" which basically shows if you have no game, getting a dog is a better move.

Fucker has an aventador, an aventador roadster (I believe), a 458, an i8, an f10 m5, an x5/6M, a huracan... It just never ends.

Doesn't he also have a 458 Spyder? Dude might as well get a Pagani zonda or sth at this point.

So I just was looking for info on the Z06 and ran across a crazy dude that for 2 years has been posting insane, obsessive hate about the C7. Like daily. Look up PeterMJ.

Anyway definitely on my shortlist of cars.

He could have bought most of those used, having googled him I don't think he owns all of them, he just borrows them for the videos.

IF he in facts owns them, he could be in private practice or a trust fund kid.

Honestly it's not that impressive Manny Khoshbin and Lamborghiniks are a lot more impressive.

I'm at the Benz dealership this morning and just drove an S600. What a fucking beast and that V12 does sound nice. Way out of my league at 165k. :(

You can't fit a pallet of Pinot Grigio in the boot either.

isn't the repair history/cost of the big engined MB's atrocious?

What did you expect from a generation old, out-of-warranty, AMG?

The costs are indeed high, but the depreciation curve is even steeper than I remember. Mebbe I should see if Carmax still warranties these cars

I was going to say, the warranty must be ridiculous.

Also, why is the repair history so bad on AMGs? They're (or used to be) bespoke (meaning, engine made just for the car, not the normal MB), so shouldn't it be even more reliable than normal cars?
