So I was driving to Enterprise to drop off this crappy Nissan Pathfinder rental when my cell phone rings. It's the MB dealership saying my ride is coming off the truck at this moment. So I got it before happy hour today [IMG]

Congrats, love the color. Got a GL 550 for my wife last year. I really, really love this vehicle. It's big, but doesn't drive big, it's comfortable, and it's a tank and came out of a serious collision in July with everybody intact, which is why I bought it (we have two small children).

If teger or connemara would be my young ward, I'd drive the Batmobile more:

My car. Not the best MPG, but it surely makes up for that in looks.

Thank JayJay! She's a driver, so more of a 20-footer. Get up close and flaws abound. But rumbling past at 50mph, she looks pretty good.

Reporting back after getting the first 500 miles on the MB.

    I LOVE THIS THING!

Drives and handles like a much smaller vehicle, had plenty of giddy-up, ride is incredible, interior luxurious, and MB has really upgraded the tech stuff for 2010.

    Best car I've ever owned.

When I parked in the morning, I parked facing the X5, as anyone would in a regular parking lot. The pickup behind me, I don't know what he was doing, but it didn't make a difference because he was gone by the time I left work. Beyond the row I was parked in, cars were all over the place, I wasn't the only one boxed in due to another driver's ignorance.
