Had an RS5 Convertible for the last week thanks to my fathers A8 being serviced. He asked for the RS5 as a tester and then left the country, thus putting it in my hands.

I'm now thoroughly convinced that I won't be buying a power-saloon. I put about 500 miles on it in 3 days and frankly the power is nothing but a risk to my driving license. Obviously that howl is phenomenal, but average speed cameras and crowded roads mean that a 3.0 TDi A8 is just so much more useful. If I've got to drive for 3 hours at 77mph I will take the quiet, smooth plush environment of super-cruiser than the hard, growly aggressiveness of an RS.

Maybe I'm old before my time, but the ability to hit 70mph in a few seconds simply isn't worth it day to day.

^You don't need a RS5 to loose your license or have fun a Cooper S etc., is enough on most european roads.

My dog and raw denim will fuck it up with in 5 minutes.

    my feet.

I live in Copenhagen, so owning a car is too large a hassle compared to my need for one.

Not 100% certain, but I'd be shocked if they weren't. More troublesome are Average Speed Cameras; they take a picture going in and a picture going out (maybe 3 miles down the road) and if the time stamp on the two photographs shows that you traveled faster than the speed limit, you get a fine in the post.

Where I live there is one on every major motorway within 100 miles.

So could you pass the first camera, pull over for a minute, and then blast down the rest of the way at 150 mph? :D

The best thing about England traffic gadgets are the lights that flash yellow before turning green. So simple yet so great. I feel like the US is a lesser nation for not having them

The one nice thing about the average speed cameras is the light after the second camera, blinking red if you got caught. Won't leave you wondering if you did in fact break the speed limit or not.

    2013.

Carbon Black Metallic with ivory interior.

I wouldn't buy the coupe without the M sport package because of the front fender, however, the gran coupe front fender without M sport package looks good enough. There's a difference between non-m package coupe and grancoupe.

Ivory is a beautiful interior. It will drive you mad keeping it clean though

Yup, but I think it's worth it. I'm also very careful with my stuff.
