1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I love my manual car but I admit that I don't feel like driving it every single day

I kinda wish I had bought my car with a six speed instead now actually.

It's not like a DCT where you can actually drive it in automatic mode. I'm always in manual mode because auto mode sucks dick.

Might as well be rowing my own gears at that point.

I was under the impression that jet only drove manual cars in general and didn't just apply that preference to sports cars.

Always goes back to the purpose of the car for what type of transmission it SHOULD have:

    Luxury - Auto
Budget Cars - whatever they get
    Exotics - Depends
Go fast cars - whatever goes fastest

I feel I am judging the poor people wrong but whatever the lowest end Kia makes come with a crappy trans regardless of which one you pick

I can't wait for the future. "Why would you touch the steering wheel and pedals when the AI does it faster?"

On the topic of manual, I always thought it was cool that Porsche offered the Cayenne with that option. But then they made the GT3 PDK-only so fuck Porsche.

I should be a douche and go to the P dealer and try and swing a 991 testdrive this weekend.

Agreed, sort of. TheW215 was stunning compared to the outgoing W216, though I'm a bit biased. I loved the looks of my CL, but felt the current generation was just meh, which is one reason I returned to the S this time around. The pics of the S coupe now have me thinking of returning to the coupe when I get ready for my next car.

I finally got approved to be an Uber driver and they've sent me my iPhone -- I shall be receiving it on Friday.

I will take some ride requests this weekend and repoart back with some earnings figures and ride request statistics! Really interested to see how this plays out.

I'll keep ordering UberX this weekend until a blue M5 (is that correct?) comes up on my phone.

Uber didn't have the M5 as a vehicle option to choose from, so it'll show up as a blue 535i, lol.

I'm really curious to see how people react to getting me as a driver. I'm as far away from the typical driver as you can get.

I asked my local Uber friends if I could be the first UberX driver in Seoul, told her I could give the ladies a choice between M3 and M5 pickups. lol. They got some regulatory problems here and can't do UberX.
