I used to live in Sweden, they like cars and have money so you indeed see some nice ones. Berlin is more about old S500 haha.

Side looks like the one of the Audi A5 :/

First thing that came to mind is actually the Accord Coupe but overall, it is like a taller and shorter base of the 6-series, which is a good thing in my eye.

Even the headlights I hated on the 3-series works with the much more aggressive bumper though it'll probably be toned down a bit.

I wonder how much of that fluidity in the front and rear bumpers will be used in the production version? I like it, but it feels much ... gloopier.... than BMWs normally do.

I haven't really kept up, but is this 4 series replacing any/all 3 series coupe options?

2 and 4 series is the new 1 and 3 series cab and coupe.

It seems that coupes and cabs will be even numbers and "normal cars" are uneven.

They are pretty much just renaming it to avoid confusion. I think the 1-series coupe will be called the 2-series in the very near future as well.

As Top Gear put it:

Despite BMW's heritage of the coupe versions of its saloon cars bearing evenly badged numbers, Munich's smallest coupe has always shared the same nomenclature as its saloon brethren. So where the 6-Series is a swoopy 5, and the old 8-Series a swoopy 7, now we have the 4-Series as a svelte 3. Understand? Good.

RFX are those official or someone's renderings?

i hate the front end...the whole car looked better in test mule form when the big black bras obscured the front :D

but the other proportions look great. a lot busier looking than the outgoing E92 though

Official "concept" if that makes sense. It is from BMW for sure.

The production version should be pretty close to it.

The 4er looks fantastic, those rear flanks look delicious. The C-pillar has an unusually raked taper (and the most petite Hofmeister kink on a BMW yet) and the slight ducktail lid are beautiful. Those chubby rear flares have a real 6-series feel to them. I'm not hot on the front or rear fascias on that concept, here's hoping that the production choices offer something a bit cleaner and elegant. The BMW concepts usually come out 1 for 1, though, so we're looking at a 435i here.

This and the 6er GC are some of the best looking new BMW's in a long, long time.
