I suggest you are doing your math wrong.
FWIW, I think GreenFrog is a Korean-American like me and has lived in Seoul before, like me - I think he's conveniently forgetting how horrifically modded the cars are here. Maybe I have better taste, I'm not sure. Japan has a ton of horrifcally modded cars as well. A lot of dumb rich guys use the Individual/custom services and make some really shitty combinations to start with (since they order the cars and wait like 3-6 months as standard, and build the cars from the brochures), and then mod them over time. BMW M3's seem to be the ultimate example of this, since hardly any of the exterior colors really matched the same color interiors offered - they were intended to be contrast colors, like black over tobacco or black over red - but these guys got the LSB and then got the blue interior that didnt match up.
Check out this E36 M3, really rare color, everything is almost perfect in taste besides the colors, but the Individual interior is just slightly off, and I'd never be able to live with that:
I think you guys are forgetting the Arabs, so many tasteless cars in the middle east.
those guys are mostly hip-hop money influenced, or invent it for the hip hop money. The Asian style is more on it's own but apes a bit of American style plus a bit of Euro style, and none of the good parts. Pretty common to see Hyundais and Kias in Korea in white with black vinyl wrapped tops to emulate pano roofs. So many shitty rims.
I kinda like those youtubes of rich Arab kids with their supercharged Nissan SUVs doing 180mph.
You are thinking of the rich money is no object, I just get the new mansory all carbon Cayenne straight of the carshow floor, chromo wrapped, garish colored type.
I'm talking about shit like this.
This is what I did. I'm not going to reveal what I paid, but will say that buying the vehicle a little over a year old saved me a large amount of money versus new with the same options. Some manufacturers, like Ford, also give you the new car interest rates they are offering on loans when buying a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle. It's a win, win.
I also agree with Pio that leases can make sense. Was considering doing that myself before I found what I ended up buying. You just need to do your research and know what you are getting into.
oh ok.... did not know about these....
ARRGGHH! What has been seen...
Like I said ugly, Russian also have a special skill, when it comes to ugly cars.
caucasian canadian swag baby... swag...
We clearly need a new thread...."Ugly Cars"
Holy shit that's ugly.
Color isn't my cup of tea but I think ugly is a strong word. BUt then again I'm black so...
Tacky, gaudy, or garish perhaps.
