Now that is superb service indeed.

My local dealership has really stepped up its service over the years. I remember when they never offered loaners, but now I get one without asking. Last week they called and offered me tickets to a concert. I'm on my third, and am glad I stuck with MB for my recent purchase although I had ruled them out initially. The deal they offered plus the improvement in service over the years, not to mention a decent product, have kept me as a customer.

It was on 5 spoke Fuchs and "stock looking".

Here you have to pay for to get a loaner at VW / Audi / BMW, but at Toyota they are free.

LOL, that's not our neighborhood, but yeah those big brick mailboxes are all the rage around here in these new suburban subdivisions.

Yes, I've heard it is crazy. The thing I like the most about our dealership is that there is never any reason to go to the dealership. They pick up the car and drop off the loaner whenever service is needed. I've bought 3 cars from them in the last 4 years and I've only been there 3 times (delivery). :)

That's a mailbox? I thought it was some sort of waste receptacle.

Given the state of the mail these days, I'm not sure there's really any difference.

Ah yes, you like it, the V12. I don't think the 8s had the badge, but the E65 760i did on the front fender.

In the meantime, check out this V12 stuffed in a Z3:

^ Why is there a road bicycle on a trainer in a BMW showroom?

ultimately I will buy the car, not the deale, which is why I've owned bmw's for the last 13 years. but when I read stories like this I feel it's really regrettable that their dealer network has the shittiest customer service of all the luxury marques. you would have to abduct the GM's daughter for any BMW dealer to do something like this

We've either had or shopped Lexus, Rover, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes, and Infiniti. The only one in our city that does not offer same brand complimentary loaners is the BMW dealership.

I feel like when you're paying the money you probably are for a car like that it would make sense for them to let you keep driving that brand for the week it's in repair.

This is why I stopped buying BMWs, I had one too many bad customer service experiences with them.
