I've been seeing the BMW 6 Gran Coupe around town because their long term testing often takes them through this area. I don't like it. It's the Mercedesification of BMW, and the car looks like a cross between the last-gen S-class (front headlight treatment), and the E-class (the non-coupey long trunk). The interior does look very nice.

I thought the Gran Coupe looks like a Jag and Aston combined.

On that note, I saw a nice 650 black convertible on the road last night damn it looks great in motion, still not feeling the headlights but the car as a whole is a beauty. Just so long and wide and low. Very sleek.

The 458 is included in Ferraris 7-year free maintenance program, right?

Perhaps this is because the smaller engine / low spec versions which are available in Europe are not sold in the USA

I think it's the opposite, the Cayenne in the US is half price of what it cost in Germany, so the Americans er getting a bargain.

After a morning of sightseeing in Istanbul, I treated myself to a bit of shopping and late lunch seated outside at Istinye Park where there was a constant parade of all manner of exotics and high end vehicles cruising by. I felt like I had the best seat at a car show.

Have some Künefe for dessert. Sounds awful, pastry or fried something with cheese and covered with syrup. Had some in a restaurant in the Asian side, been 10 years, so I can't remember where. Maybe the best dessert I ever had. Hot and crunchy with soft cheese and sweet. Like I said, sounds awful, but can be unbelievable.
