would not get ceramic brakes on an S6; one, the car is a pig and it's not a supercar or even close, so it doesn't need them - and two, when it tanks in resale just like all Audi S cars do, brake jobs will eventually cost a huge fraction if not majority of the cars value... probably right after the value crashes too, lol.

yeah this wasn't 2012 man, this was 1997 when a Mk II was 10 years old and an Integra GS-R was a brand new car...

Not liking it, never liked station wagons to begin with, they're just ugly to me.
I much prefer the new M135i.

I'm over, just can't help it when dude asks all these random shit and has no idea what he is talking about. I just lurk that thread but damn dude just ruins it.

The front just looks way to busy to my eyes. But the side profile is very nice.

I just don't like what they did with the headlight and how the lower fascia is designed. Don't like the hood line either. The new 3-series just isn't doing it for me.

It's hard to judge a 3 series by how the first run 320i PR shots look, because in a year the M3 will be out and people will think they all should look like an M3 - the hoodline is tall and the profile is blocky on this wagon (few remember how aggressively raked the E30 and E34 wagons were, and the E39 to some extent) - but the tall hood is so tall this time it could do a reversal and the M3 power domed version could drop on the sides a bit, who knows.
Overall it's pretty nice, the interior is really nice for a 3 series (no one remembers how crappy they used to be?) , spec'd with the M sport kit and some large wheels from the lot it'd be nice enough looking and hold pretty good value. It's doubtful they'll make an M3 version of the wagon since they never have before, so spec'ing out a 335d/i would be good enough.

The interior and performance in the only thing I like about the new 3-series. The M-Sport body kit makes the car 10x better looking so to anyone who wants it, definitely go with that option, the same with the 5-series.

Rumour has it they wont make a M5 touring, so the M3 wagon, is even more unlikely sadly. You can get 400+hp out of the 35i, so they should be more than enough for most people and with the M-sport kit, it should be a great car.

The front looks a lot like the new 1 series, it just seems more in proportion.

Yup like I said, the 3 is more in proportion.

Everything back from the A-pillar on that 1 series looks great, especially the curvature over the rear arches. It reminds me of the surface complexity of mid 90's Hondas (yes, despite how boring they looked, they had interesting surfacing). If they would've put a slightly aggressive front on it, like a shrunken version of 6 series front end for example, and could sell it for $25/30K, it would murder everything at or even within 5-10K of the price.

It's the M-sport, so it's the aggressive version.

Yeah the rear quarter panel has a nice shape to it, a lot better than the old one.
